Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fenno Publishers website and all services offered by Fenno Publishers ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms in full. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Services Provided

Fenno Publishers provides professional publishing services including but not limited to:

• Ghostwriting and book writing services
• Book editing and proofreading
• Book cover design and interior layout
• Book illustration and artwork
• Book publishing and distribution
• Audiobook production
• Book marketing and promotional services

The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each project are outlined in a separate project agreement or proposal provided to the client prior to commencement of work.

3. Payment Terms

All fees for services are outlined in your project proposal. By approving a proposal, you agree to the stated payment terms. Key payment policies include:

• A deposit (typically 50%) is required before work begins on any project
• Remaining balance is due upon project completion and before final file delivery
• All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, except as outlined in our Return Policy
• Late payments may result in project suspension until the outstanding balance is settled
• Prices are quoted in USD and are subject to change for new projects

4. Intellectual Property & Ownership

Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives full ownership and copyright of all deliverables created specifically for their project. This includes:

• Full copyright transfer of the written manuscript or content
• All design files, illustrations, and artwork created for the project
• The right to publish, distribute, and profit from the work under your name

Fenno Publishers retains the right to use non-confidential project details (e.g., genre, word count, general description) for internal portfolio and marketing purposes unless a full NDA is in place. We will never disclose your identity as the author without your explicit written consent.

5. Confidentiality

We treat all client projects with strict confidentiality. Upon request, we will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before any project details are shared. Our team members are bound by confidentiality obligations and will not disclose any client information to third parties without consent.

6. Revisions & Approvals

We offer unlimited revisions within the agreed project scope until the client is satisfied. Revisions are subject to the following conditions:

• Revision requests must be submitted in writing via email or our project portal
• Revisions that significantly change the original project scope may be subject to additional fees
• Client approval at each milestone stage is required before proceeding to the next phase
• Failure to respond to milestone approvals within 14 days may result in project delays

7. Limitation of Liability

Fenno Publishers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project in question. We are not responsible for delays caused by client inaction, third-party platforms, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful, harmful, or unethical purpose, including:

• Creating content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Producing defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent material
• Misrepresenting your identity or the intended use of the content
• Reselling our services without prior written authorization

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of New York County, NY.
